To use Contextual AI, we first set the context by assessing what the target user’s mindset is when they’re consuming content online. Where will they go? What will they be reading about? What type of information will they be looking for?
With their mindset and preferences in mind, we input 3+ words or phrases that tend to appear together to set the context. We also can add out-of-context phrases to help ensure ads don’t appear on irrelevant sites.

Then, Contextual AI uses an algorithm to analyze the content in each display network web page to try to match ads with the content that is most relevant. The ad is served to the consumer when a placement that matches your targeting is found.
